General Description:
The EdTech Integrator collaborates with teachers, administrators, and division leaders to integrate digital tools and resources into instructional activities, enhancing student learning and assessment through innovative and equitable practices. This role provides differentiated support, models effective technology use, and develops professional learning opportunities
to empower educators in creating engaging, technology-rich learning environments. Additionally, the EdTech Integrator promotes digital citizenship, cultural understanding, and global awareness while ensuring equitable access to digital tools for all students and staff.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with teachers and administrators in selecting, planning the use of, and integrating digital tools into instructional activities to differentiate instruction and provide rigorous and relevant learning experiences for students, as well as in the
development of technology-enhanced formative and summative assessments
• Differentiates support (individual/small group/whole staff) to meet staff needs through modeling, designing, and implementing technology-enhanced learning experiences
• Collaborates with content specialists and contributes to the development and execution of professional development throughout the division
• Assists in building leadership in technology decision-making, professional development planning, and professional development facilitation
• Partners with school-based and/or community-based stakeholders in the school improvement planning process
• Trains teachers in and models the use of online and blended learning, digital content, digital citizenship and collaborative learning networks to support and extend student learning
• Supports a variety of digital tools and resources for teacher and student use in technology-rich learning environments
• Trains teachers in and models the use of digital student information management systems and digital learning platforms/learning management systems to enhance student achievement

• Promotes the use of digital collaboration tools to communicate locally and globally with students, parents, peers, and the larger community
• Provides meaningful professional development for teachers and administrators on new curricula and technology initiatives
• Develop and facilitate online professional learning experiences for staff that model best practices
• Collaborates and plans with other RPS staff to develop training materials, projects, and resources
• Models and promotes strategies for achieving equitable access to digital tools and resources and technology-related best practices for all students and teachers
• Models and promotes diversity, cultural understanding, and global awareness

• Assumes responsibility for own professional growth and development by keeping current with the literature and new research findings
• Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed or assigned


Qualifications:
• Must possess a valid Collegiate Professional license with the appropriate level endorsement, and have a minimum of three years of recent successful teaching experience
• Must have excellent communication, organizational, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with adult
learners to support teacher growth
• Must have experience in professional development, conducting technology
workshops, and creating and modifying curricular lessons and activities
• Must know about the Virginia Computer/Technology Standards
• Must have a strong knowledge of curriculum alignment and instructional design
• Must have the ability to model digital assessment and data-analysis best practices as
they relate to informing instruction
